This photo of Carroll Shelby taken at the Pebel Beach races in Monterey California in 1956 also has another soon to be great racer in it. In the left hand side of the photo is none other the a very young Jim Hall, then an engineering student in Southern California. JIM HALL went on to create the The CHAPARRAL cars that dominated CAN-AM Racing in the 60's and changed the thinking of AERODYNAMIC's and DOWN FORCE of cars in the future.
